A little history lesson: I got my first african sewing pattern at the age of 8 and it’s been a permanent part of my wardrobe ever since.
The first africa african patterns I ever bought were from a local antique shop in a small town in the south east of Africa called Tawana.
The pattern was made of a single colour and it was a little tricky to read but I’ve had the pattern for a couple of years now and it always looks lovely.
The african fabrics I’ve tried on have always been beautiful, soft and lovely to work with, and the pattern itself is perfect for beginners.
